Note that Silverthorne currently is not allowing usage of Rainbow tennis courts for PB outside our official drop-in times above. NO first-come, first-served at Rainbow tennis courts.
All other PB-lined public courts in Summit County are available — first-come, first-served — for private games whenever not scheduled for a particular sport or rec department program. Look for court signage indicating times they are off-limits to walk-ons. Outside those times, grab an open court for a private game and keep it as long as you like. You don’t need to rotate in other players who wander by.
Indoors, only Silverthorne Rec Center is accommodating PB in summer, allowing up to two PB nets to be set up on one side of the gym anytime that both sides of the gym are free (i.e., not already scheduled). See the Rec Center’s Sport and Fitness Schedules page here. Near the bottom of that page, click on the link for Gymnasium Schedule and look for open times.
Finally, note that folks tend to come and go, early or late, depending on weather and anticipated crowds. SCPA members (join here for $15) are eligible to join GroupMe texting about whether/when people are playing and where.
