Shipboard Pickleball in the Caribbean

After several years’ conversation among SCPA members about what fun a pickleball cruise would be, Mary Sisti put one together for November!   Fifteen intrepid SCPA members and friends departed Ft. Lauderdale on the Regal Princess, sailing to eastern Caribbean ports including St Thomas St Maarten, and Princess Cay.

The group had exclusive use of two pickleball courts for three hours daily, with additional time to play with any guests on the week-long cruise.

The weather was great, with just occasional wind. Mary writes, “The wind was a factor at sea as well as in port but I think we actually got better with ‘keep your eyes on the ball’ because if it.  We also had time to get to know each other better. We played cards and really had time to relax and dine and take naps after our playtime.  The evening entertainment was spectacular.  We’re really looking forward to next year’s Pickleball Fun cruise.  I’m already planning another one!”
